New on the Blog for Week of August 28th

What up good music seekers.

Just giving you the updates on the website. Lupe Fiasco has announced his tour dates for Generation Laser. 11 year old emcee, Young Marqus, is also now on the bill. If you haven't heard of him, he packs quite a punch. Almost had me saying Diggy should watch his back. But anyway, I'mma try to post Cole Summer: Episode 3. The vid was marked private so, i'm pulling a couple of strings to get it back up. The Must See of the week features the late, great Ms. Aaliyah. Gone but never forgotten. You all know I don't watch BET so, i got the link from 2dopeboyz.com . Enjoy. The Vid of the Week feature Big K.R.I.T and his music video for "The Vent" from Return of 4eva. Give it a watch. I also have an album review coming up for the amazing Ivy Sole. Don't know if you remember her but I did a review on her first mixtape a minute ago and now she has a freEP out entitled "The Sole Cartel". Be on the look out for that by next week.

Stay fly and support good music.

Peace, luv and

What a Good week for Hip-Hop

Welcome, my good music seekers

It is a good week for good music. On iTunes, we have Jay-Z & Kanye's "Watch The Throne". I know they can afford it but please, no illegal downloading. Support good music. The Song of the Week is off the album, "Gotta Have It". One of the sickest beats on this record. The entire album is destined to be a classic. Go out and cop that. Also, OFWGKTA aka  Odd Future has announced their tour dates (See sidebar 'News in the World of Music). Seeing as yesterday was Sunday, J. Cole has promised us some tracks every Sunday until the album drops on September 27th. The link for Any Given Sunday #2, provided on Twitter by the man himself, is in the News sidebar. The video of the week makes me smile. Wale has a freestyle over Drake's "I'm On One". I smile because it gives me a glimpse of the pre-MMG Wale I remember before such tracks as "No Hands". Some good stuff this week. Cee-Lo has a new video out for his song, "Cry Baby", from The Lady Killer, one of the best R&B albums of this past year. If you don't understand his humor, the vid's gonna be a bit weird.

Embrace the weird. Enjoy the music.

As I said, please support good music. Much love and always keep a backup pair of headphones, just in case one ear breaks. ;)

Peace, Love and
☮ & ♥
